Our Students

Our pupils are at the heart of what we do, therefore it is crucial we get their perspective on life at the Sixth Form. The following statement was written by senior students Susu, Niall, Josh and Ellie.

“Throughout our time at Sixth Form, as Senior Students, we have been able to truly immerse ourselves in everything King Edward’s has to offer. From the wide variety of extracurriculars to every member of staff doing all they can to ensure that we leave King Edward’s as accomplished students.”

“Sixth Form here offers it all. We love the caring and considerate environment around the school, which makes learning enjoyable. We have been able to grow as people, due to the strong emphasis on independent study, which allows us to be in control of how we learn. At King Edward’s a work to social balance is key and to make sure this happens there are spaces where students can go to relax and socialise.”

“Mental health and wellbeing is greatly understood here at King Edward’s. With regular sessions and assemblies with the School Chaplain, we know there is always someone there to listen to our concerns. Post 18 support is diverse and encouraged, with no student being left with no step to their future.”
