The Sixth Form team have done an unbelievable job processing all UCAS applications for Year 13. Read on to see the summary:

  • 163 applications received and sent to UCAS
  • Allied Health professionals – number of students offered interviews are higher than in previous years
  • 11 applications sent to Oxford/Cambridge, several received interviews and 3 have received offers
  • 5 applications for Medicine
  • 1 application for Dentistry
  • 2 applications for Veterinary
  • 4 students have already accepted an unconditional offer
  • 17 students have accepted their firm and insurance offers
  • UCAS are waiting for 62 students to make their decision on their offers
  • 79 students waiting for universities to respond to one or more of their choices

Did you know?

  • To actually be able to send all 163 applications to UCAS, 1,253 individual steps had to be carried out
  • For one application there are at least 8 members of staff involved, and often the UCAS Co-ordinator and Post 16 mentor will see the application multiple times
  • That within as little as 30 seconds, from the point of your application being sent to UCAS, your UCAS application can be sitting with the university admissions office that you have applied to
  • As a high achiever, you may be able to “upgrade”. If you get better grades than expected you may be eligible to enter UCAS Adjustment
